Don’t Keep All Your Eggs In One Basket

Our school age children jumped up and down yelling when I told them that one of the eggs hatched. The kids have been turning eggs for 21 days and learning all about chickens. Today one of our eggs hatched! Right on schedule I might add. I love to see the kids excited about learning. Check back later and see how many more hatch.

JB’s Rattles came today to show and teach us about his reptiles

Today we were blessed to have JB’s Rattles come visit our school.  He taught our children all about the different types of snakes and reptiles that he brought with him. The kids are not the only ones that liked the show.  Our teachers got into holding the animals as well.  We recommend JB’s Rattles anytime.  He does an amazing job with the kids.

We loved on Liberty this week!

A church member made us some window boxes to go out side of our classrooms.  So the school age class painted the boxes and then planted some flowers in them.  Not sure if more paint got on them or the boxes.  The most important thing is that they had fun working together as a team.

Suffolk Humane Society

Thank you so much to everyone that brought in newspapers, blankets, and food for us.  The children will deliver everything to the Suffolk Humane Society located on 412 Kings Fork Road, which is right down the road from us.  If your looking for a four legged fur baby to add to your family check them out.
