Is Fall In The Air?
I know the first day of fall has come and gone. Does it feel like fall weather yet? No not yet in Virginia since today it’s supposed to be 95 degrees outside.
As you look at our website you will see a mix of Liberty Baptist Christian School and Daycare and Mighty Oak Christian Academy information. We are working on updating our website to turn it completely over to Mighty Oak Christian Academy.
We are very excited to take on our new name in the coming weeks.

God’s Street Ministry
This summer our school has been collecting supplies needed for God’s Street Ministry. Ms. Nancy from God’s Street Ministry came by to pick up the supplies and to explain to our children how she uses the supplies we brought in to go out and share God with all of the homeless people in our community.
With our children collecting items such as: band aids, tooth brushes, toothpaste, oatmeal cups, hygiene products, fruit bars, etc it helps God’s Street Ministry to put the homeless bags together. We may not be able to hit the streets like Ms. Nancy to share God’s love but we can equip them to do it. I really believe in teaching children young to give back to our community so that they grow up really living for God.
